What Standard UAV Aerial Mapping Covers for Farm Land
Al Warqa Survey Engineering does not operate a dedicated agricultural sensor package (multispectral or NDVI crop-health imaging). What we do provide is our standard UAV photogrammetric mapping service, applied to agricultural and rural land, which supports several common needs on farm and agricultural development projects:

What It Doesn't Cover
If your project needs crop health monitoring, NDVI vegetation index analysis, or multispectral imaging to detect irrigation stress or disease at the plant level, that requires a multispectral sensor and agronomy-specific processing that falls outside our standard photogrammetry and LiDAR equipment. We would rather say so upfront than sell a deliverable we can't produce — for that kind of specialised agri-tech imaging, look for a provider that names multispectral or NDVI capability explicitly.
How the Survey Works
The process is the same UAV workflow used for any aerial mapping project: flight planning and GCAA airspace clearance, ground control point placement for positional accuracy, an automated drone flight capturing overlapping imagery, and photogrammetric processing into an orthomosaic, digital terrain model, and contour plan. For large agricultural parcels — often flatter and more open than urban construction sites — this typically means faster coverage per hectare than equivalent urban surveys.

Yes, indirectly. The topographic and contour data from a drone survey gives irrigation engineers the elevation model they need to design gravity-fed channels and drainage layout. We provide that base data; the irrigation design itself is done by an irrigation engineer or agricultural consultant.
Do you offer crop health or NDVI drone imaging?
Not currently. Our drone fleet is equipped for standard photogrammetric and LiDAR mapping, not multispectral crop-health sensing. If your project specifically needs NDVI or crop-stress imaging, we'd recommend a provider with that sensor capability.
How large an agricultural site can you survey?
